Beloved wife of Edwin B. "Bud" Meissner, Jr.; beloved mother and mother-in-law of Peter (Karen Lasota), Wallace (Caryn Fiscella), Robert (Marty) and Donald (Wende) Meissner; beloved grandmother of Liv (Ian) MacKenzie, Sofia (Cassandra), Noah (Gloria), Ben, Amelia, Paul, Jacob, Gideon, Ilana and Elias; beloved great-grandmother of Ben and Alex MacKenzie. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of the late Louis Renard and Elizabeth (the late Joseph) Ruwitch; dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend.

Visitation Friday, January 19th, 10:30 AM at BERGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9430 Olive Blvd, followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment New Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Memorial contributions of your choice preferred.
Myra Lee Wolff
November 20, 1930 - January 19, 2018

 Passed away on January 19, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late William S Wolff for 67 years; Dear mother and mother-in-law of Andy (Dreama) Wolff, Candice Sanders and Cindy (Ron) Steiner; dear grandmother of Sara, Adam (Angela), Micah (Katie), Nathan (Shannon), Laura and Dan (Libby). 

Myra was devoted to her family and shared her love of life, sports and the outdoors with her friends as well.  As a youth, she was a competitive swimmer and lifeguard.  Myra loved canoeing and being a camper/counselor at Camp Hawthorne.  She once served as chair of the JCC Women's Health Club. She won many Gold medals at the JCC Senior Olympics.  Among her passions, Myra enjoyed travel, tennis, boating, waterskiing, fishing, gardening, painting, tea and dark chocolate.  She was an excellent seamstress who fashioned many of her own tailored garments.  An adoring grandmother, she encouraged her grandchildren's scholarship and musical pursuits. Myra worked alongside her husband Bill and other family members at Artistic Fabrics for many years.

Services: Wednesday, January 24th 2:00 pm at New Mt. Sinai Mausoleum, 8430 Gravois 63123.  Visitation after 1:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions preferred to Congregation Shaare Emeth, Alzheimer's Association or charity of your choice. Visit for more information.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley Katz Kardesch. Dear father of Ellen Kardesch (Andy) Trovillion, David (Cynthia) Kardesch and Matthew (Katherine) Kardesch. Loving grandfather of Samantha and Alexander Trovillion, Alison, Nathaniel, Jeffrey and Benjamin Kardesch, Claire, Carter and Cory Kardesch. Dear brother of Sarah Kardesch (Martin) Goldenberg. Beloved brother-in-law of the late Martin Katz and Jerold Katz. Dear uncle, cousin, friend and caring physician.
