Gerald Alexander Weiss
August 31, 1931 - December 12, 2016
Gerald Weiss, beloved husband of Ginny Weiss for over 54 years; dear father of Ellie Weiss and Vickie (Eric) Feinstein; dear grandfather of Eva (Jason) Swaney, Noah and Isaac Pearlstone, Micah Schwartz, and David, Abby and Jonah Feinstein; dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Dr. Stuart Weiss and Marlita Weiss; dear brother-in-law of Bob and Marlene Wolff; dear uncle, cousin and friend.
Gerald was an outstanding salesman. After graduation from the University of Missouri, he started selling real estate for Cornet and Zeibig. He eventually owned his own company for ten years. Following his career in real estate, he became a highly respected corrugated box salesman for over 35-years. He was also a wonderful supporter to his wife, Ginny, in her puppetry business. He designed and built her puppet stages and shared her active involvement in the Puppet Guild of St. Louis and Puppeteers of America. Gerald and Ginny were devoted members of Congregation Shaare Emeth for over 50 years. He was an active member of the Brotherhood where he served as Vice President and Program Chairman. Gerry will be fondly remembered for his infectious laugh, his joy of life and his willingness to help others.

Harold owned and operated Aanlan's Utility Auto Parts and Glass for 45 years.

Kessler, Ben L. age 94 died on January 9, 2017 beloved husband of Roz Kessler for 68 years; dear father and father-in-law of Susie (Jeff) Kress, Carrie (Brian) Vallandingham and Debi (Mark) Mehlman; dear grandfather of Matthew (Megan) Ray and Jessica (Paul) Crysler, Leigh, Chad, the late Natalie, Scott and Blair Mehlman; dear great grandfather of Cruz Crysler; dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Sam (Ruth), the late Morris and the late David Kessler; our dear uncle, cousin and friend.
Mr. Kessler thrived in the scrap metal recycling business for 6 decades by dedicating himself to his friends, customers, co-workers, and employers, proving that nice guys really can finish first. Mr. Kessler was appointed by the governor and proudly served three terms on the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Hazardous Waste Commission.
Funeral service Wednesday, January 11th 1:00 PM at Congregation Temple Israel, Ladue and Spoede Roads. No visitation prior to service. Private family interment. Memorial contributions of your choice preferred.
Harvey M. Cohen
October 1, 1941 - January 10, 2017
Beloved husband for 53 years of Sheila Cohen (nee Miller); beloved father and father-in-law of Paula (Samuel Hess) Cohen, Beth (Harry Berman) Cohen and Daniel (Wendy) Cohen; dear grandfather of Zoe Berman, Bradley Berman and Sally Cohen; devoted brother and brother-in-law of Wallace (Maxine) Cohen and Norman (Vicki) Cohen; dear son of the late Louis and late Bertha (nee Kopperman) Cohen; dear son-in-law of the late May Fagan Miller; dear nephew, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.
Harvey was a graduate of Granite City High School and Washington University, Class of 1963. He spent his career at Cohen Foods, Inc. He served on the board of the Jewish Federation of Southern Illinois and Jewish Center for Aged.
